THE CELESTIAL AWARDS™
The Awards Will Be Presented On November 12th At The Celestial Awards™ Show At The Historic Majestic Theatre In Downtown San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO, November 11, 2024 – Tomorrow, Women in Film & Television San Antonio (WIFT SATX+) presents the organization’s inaugural awards show: The Celestial Awards™ hosted by native San Antonian, actor Nicholas Gonzalez. On October 17th, 2024, the producers announced the The Celestial Awards™ Honorees at the Producers Party hosted by the incomparable Bohannan’s Prime Steaks & Seafood located in downtown San Antonio across the street from The Majestic Theatre on Houston Street where the famous theatre’s marquee revealed actor and native San Antonian Nicholas Gonzalez as the award show’s host on 11/12/24.
Following the previous announcement of “The Carol” award named for and endorsed by native-San Antonian Carol Burnett, WIFT SATX+ founding CEO and board chairwoman Ceslie Armstrong along with The Celestial Awards™ producers and co-hosts announced the 2024 honorees to 100 guests at the cocktail party affair staged in the gorgeous patio garden. As the sun set on Houston Street, the Majestic Theatre marquee illuminated with the preview of November’s big show and the guests made sure to capture the moment. The party-goers included the organization’s members and representatives from major business verticals, arts organizations, official media partners KSAT 12 (ABC), the San Antonio Business Journal, and leading San Antonians who reveled in honoring San Antonio-related women who significantly impact the media and entertainment industry and the region WIFT SATX+ serves including the Texas Hill Country, Bexar County, Coastal Bend, Rio Grande Valley (RGV), and broader South Texas.
