Mary Becquet is a San Antonio-based finance professional with deep expertise in television and film production finance. With an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, Mary worked in Los Angeles for more than 20 years beginning as a Price Waterhouse Coopers auditor, where her clients ranged from the Disney Studios to the LA Phil (Los Angeles Philharmonic).
Becquet’s career evolved to other major Media & Entertainment industry platforms including E! Entertainment network as their Program Budget Manager and Assistant Controller, Showtime as Director of Original Programming Finance, Warner Bros. as Director of Film Joint Venture Finance, and Fandango as Financial Controller. Mary also spent seven years at Sony Pictures as Vice President, Corporate Finance.
On the lighter side, Mary Becquet is a successful actress and stand-up comedian providing frequent laughs for the whole family and especially finding humor in the experience of being a woman in corporate finance.
